Notes on daily maintenance and maintenance of linear slide rail
First, pay attention to the following points when using linear guides:
1. Even if invisible tiny dust enters the guide rail, keeping the guide rail and its surrounding environment clean will increase the wear, vibration and noise of the guide rail.
2. When using and installing the guide rails, care should be taken not to allow strong punching, hammers to directly hit the guide rails, and pressure not to be transmitted through the rolling elements.
3. Use proper and accurate rail installation tools, and try to use special tools to avoid the use of fabrics and short fibers.
4. Prevent the guide rail from rusting. When you directly remove the silver rail by hand, you should first wash your sweat and apply high-quality mineral oil before operation. During the rainy season and summer, you should pay special attention to rust prevention.
Therefore, care must be taken when using high-performance silver rails. If used improperly, it will not be able to achieve the desired performance effect, and it is easy to damage the guide rail. However, under some special operating conditions, the guide rail can obtain a longer life than traditional calculations, especially under light load conditions. These special operating conditions are when rolling surfaces (tracks and rolling parts) are effectively separated by a lubricant film, contaminants can cause surface damage. In fact, under ideal conditions, the so-called permanently guided life is possible. Lubrication maintenance: Grease lubrication adopts a sealing method, pre-filling the sealed guide rail with grease, and filling an appropriate amount of grease inside the housing, and regularly filling and supplying grease. In addition, for machines with multiple rails that require lubrication, centralized oil supply is also used to connect the pipeline to various lubrication locations. Grease lubrication can be filled with grease for a long time without replenishment, and the structure of its sealing device is relatively simple, so it is widely used. Oil lubrication is relatively simple. Frequent lubrication can greatly increase the service life of the guide rail.
